Off-Campus Access to Online Resources
- How do I access library databases from off-campus?
- Only registered students can access library databases from off-campus. Click on a database link and you will be asked for your VCCS username and password. Use the same username and password you do when logging in to Blackboard or your VCCS e-mail. Help with usernames and passwords are available here.

Checking Out Books
- What do I need to check out books?
- You must have your library card to check out any materials - including Reserves.
- How do I get a library card?
- Students: present picture id and complete a card request form at either library.
- Non-Students: present a driver's license and complete a card request form at either library.
- How many books can I check out at once?
- Students: No limit on students, except in special circumstances.
- Non-Students: Non-students are limited to three items at a time.
- Can I check out videos?
- Some videos and DVD's can be checked out for seven days.
