Opportunities for financial assistance

  • LFCC is proud to offer our students a number of ways to help pay for the cost of attending college. Our students may receive financial aid in the way of grants, scholarships, work-study employment positions, and student loans. 
  • To apply for financial aid, begin by filling out a FAFSA form for the 2012-2013 academic year by visiting www.fafsa.gov

Guaranteed transfer agreements

  • Interested in attending a 4-year college or university to pursue your bachelor's degree? LFCC has a number of guaranteed transfer agreements with institutions to help you have a smooth, seamless, and GUARANTEED transfer process! 
  • If you finish an associate of arts & science degree ("transfer degree") from LFCC and meet the qualifications specific to each 4-year school, you can have AUTOMATIC acceptance into that institution to finish up your bachelor's degree! No more playing the "waiting game"—know ahead of time what it takes for you to get accepted into the school of your choice!

Small classroom sizes

  • At LFCC, a typical class has no more than 24 students. Smaller classroom sizes will help you to get to know your fellow classmates and develop a more personal relationship with your instructors. At LFCC, our teachers will know you as a person—not just a number!
