What We Do
The Student Government Association (SGA) encourages communication among students, faculty and administration. SGA also coordinates student organizations and activities, encourages students to be active college and community members, promotes school spirit and acts as the official voice of the LFCC student body. All full- and part-time students who have completed registration are members of SGA and may vote in all elections. The executive board consists of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer and presidents of officially recognized LFCC organizations. All SGA executive board members must maintain at least a 2.0 GPA and attend meetings. SGA meetings are open to all students, LFCC faculty and staff. SGA responsibilities include but are not limited to the following: approving student activities, coordinating extracurricular events, recommending rules governing the student body, supervising student elections, providing assistants for events and sponsoring social functions.
