Description

The Fine and Performing Arts Club (FPAC) promotes theatre, music and dance and sponsors the following events: Kids Halloween Party, Dinner Theatre Production, LFCC Holiday Program, Martin Luther King Jr. Program, Fairfax Follies Variety Show and a student-directed musical or play. We welcome anyone who enjoys the arts on stage or behind the scenes. We also organize trips to see plays, entertain groups in the community and host arts groups from other colleges.

2009 Fairfax Follies Organizational Meeting

When: Monday, Feb. 2, 2009

This year's LFCC Follies shows will be held Saturday and Sunday, March 28 and 29, 2009, in the William H. McCoy Special Events Center (SEC) of the Alson H. Smith Jr. Technology Center on the Middletown Campus. This is going to be a very special year since it will be our 30th show!

We are going to have our organizational kick-off meeting Monday, Feb. 2, at 6 p.m. in the SEC on the Middletown Campus. At this meeting, we will get everyone signed up, talk about the acts we will be doing, and maybe even start rehearsing some of the numbers.

Please invite those you know who would like to be part of our event. As always, everyone is welcome (students, employees and community), and we need singers, dancers, actors, and lots of help offstage and with the pre-show. Children ages 3+ are encouraged to sign up. Our theme is our 30th birthday celebration, and we will be bringing back the best acts of the past three decades.

If you are unable to attend the Feb. 2 meeting, but would like to be a part of the show, please contact Andrea Ludwick, director of the Fairfax Follies, by e-mail: . Additional information about the shows will be forthcoming in future newsletters.
