Ability to Benefit Test
You must pass the Ability to Benefit Test if you meet both of the following conditions:
- You have not earned a high school diploma or GED, and
- You are applying for federal financial aid.
You should take the Ability to Benefit Test at the same time that you take the Academic Placement Test. For more information about financial aid and Ability to Benefit, please contact the Financial Aid Office at 540-868-7130.
