Which courses will transfer?

Each four-year college makes decisions about which courses from Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) will transfer. Students planning to transfer should contact the chief transfer officer at the school they want to attend. Students transferring out-of-state should research the school online and follow the guidelines for transfer students.

Students planning to transfer should be in an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree curriculum at LFCC. There are eight:

  • Business Administration
  • Education
  • General Studies
  • Liberal Arts
    • Communications Specialization
    • Fine Arts Specialization
    • Philosophy and Religion Specialization
  • Science

Some Associate of Applied Science degrees transfer in part, but students should work closely with their faculty advisors to determine which courses will transfer.
