Online Training Opportunities
Faculty & Staff Online Blackboard Training
The Instructional Technology Office has set up a Blackboard training course to serve as a self-paced, online resource for LFCC faculty and staff. This course is available through the VCCS Blackboard course management system. It is a "work-in-progress" and will be enhanced as we are made aware of additional training needs. We encourage you to self-enroll in the course (reference steps below), make use of the available tutorials and, most importantly, let us know how we can enhance the course to suit your training needs.
Steps to Self-Enroll in the Blackboard Faculty Training Course:
- Log into the MyLFCC portal from the College's website.
- Click the LOGIN TO MY LFCC link in the upper right corner of this page to access the MyLFCC login page.
- If you are unfamiliar with the steps to log into the MyLFCC portal, please open the linked PDF file and follow the steps documented in the tutorial.
- Click the Blackboard 8 link in the "My Tools" list to open the Blackboard course management system's window.
3. Copy-and-paste the following link into your Web browser's address bar:
http://learn.vccs.edu/bin/common/enroll_course.pl?course_id=_147110_1
NOTE: You MUST first log into the Blackboard course management system before you try to access the page associated with this link.
- A "Self Enrollment" window will appear. Click the Submit button to self-enroll in the course.
Once you click the Submit button and have successful completed the self-enrollment process, you will be taken to the Blackboard Faculty Training course.
