Associate of Arts and Sciences Degree

The science curriculum is designed for students interested in pre-professional scientific programs such as premed, pre-pharmacy, pre-respiratory therapy or pre-vet. It is also designed for students who intend to transfer to four-year institutions to major in a science field. Major fields of study at the baccalaureate level may include agriculture, biology, biotechnology, botany, chemistry, environmental science, forestry, geology, horticulture, meteorology, nuclear science, physics, wildlife biology or zoology.

Students who satisfy specific requirements for this degree may qualify for admission to a four-year institution under the terms of LFCC's transfer agreements with the Virginia Community College System.
