Credit by Exam

CLEP (College Level Examination Program of the College Board):
LFCC recognizes most of the general and subject examinations. Students should also consult colleges and universities where they plan to transfer.

One of the following Approved Photo Identification Required must be presented before testing.

  1. Current state Department of Motor Vehicle:
    1. Driver’s license
    2. Learner’s Permit
    3. Identification Card
  2. Current Passport
  3. Current United States Military Identification Card
  4. Current Lord Fairfax Community College Student Identification Card

Time: 90 minutes, timed in two 45-minute parts
Fees: $95 ($65 to CLEP: check or credit card and $30 to LFCC: check or money order)
Retake policy: After 6 months
