LFCC Workforce Solution Winners Announced

The Virginia Community College System named two LFCC Workforce Solution instructors, winners in "The Chancellor's Awards Recognition Program." Rachel Schaefer and Judy Whipp-Mills were recipients of this prestigious award. The annual event recognizes top instructors throughout the State of Virginia and this year's honorees represented Germanna, Lord Fairfax, and Northern Virginia Community Colleges. The event was held on October 22, 2013 at NOVA's Arts and Sciences Center in Woodbridge, VA.
Schaefer has more than 15 years of business experience in marketing, sales, accounting, manufacturing and retail management. Schaefer is a coordinator of business and industry training and facilitation. She has an MBA, as well as, CAPM and DDI Certifications.
Whipp-Mills has years of experience in Human Resources; specializing in recruitment, employment law, and employee relations and training. She has an MBA, and holds certifications in DDI, Public Administration, and Professional Human Resources.
