Where do you live?: Winchester, Va.
How old are you?: In my 40s.
At which campus do you primarily take classes?: Middletown Campus.
What made you decide to attend LFCC?: I wanted to improve my English reading and writing skills.
What do you like most about LFCC?: The professors are ready to help students. Free tutoring is available, and the tuition is affordable.
What is your major, and why did you choose it?: Associate of Arts and Sciences Degree in Liberal Arts: Fine Arts Specialization. When I was in high school, I wanted to study fine arts. I was very interested in drawing, but my father disagreed with me studying art for several reasons. I gave up my dream at that time.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work and school?: I spend much of my time preparing for class. I need extra time to study outside class because English is my second language. I also have two teenage boys that keep me busy.
When will you graduate from LFCC?: Summer 2010
What are your future plans and goals after graduating from LFCC?: I plan transfer to a four-year college.
If you had one piece of advice for an individual trying to choose a college, what would it be?: LFCC is a good place to begin to fulfill your dream and goal. The dedicated professors and the variety of programs will help you on your path.
