I don’t qualify for financial aid, should I still apply?
Absolutely! Some scholarships are based on financial need, others are not. Therefore, do not assume you are not eligible for a scholarship!
In addition, there are several scholarships awarded to students who can demonstrate financial need, but may or may not qualify for financial aid.
How will I know which scholarships I should apply for?
When you fill out the general scholarship application, the system will notify you of any specific scholarships you may qualify to apply for.
Am I a qualified student?
Qualified LFCC students are those whose official school of record is LFCC. If you are attending LFCC through a consortium agreement with another school, you are not eligible to apply for LFCC Educational Foundation scholarships. Please contact the school from which you are receiving your financial aid award for information about its scholarship opportunities.
Any qualified student currently enrolled or who will enroll in a minimum of 6 credits for the upcoming academic semester at LFCC with a minimum 2.0 GPA is encouraged to apply for a scholarship. Scholarships will be awarded to students who meet the criteria of the specific scholarship.
