International Association of Administrative Professionals (IAAP)

This LFCC student club represents students enrolled in Administrative Support Technology degree and certificate programs as well as students enrolled in other programs who have an interest in the club's leadership and outreach activities. LFCC – IAAP provides each member opportunities for networking with area businesses, strengthening leadership skills while organizing and managing community service programs, and gaining career skills essential to medical, legal, and traditional office administrative positions.

Members are involved with a wide variety of community outreach activities that include collecting coats for homeless Veteran's, collecting new books for the "Books for Children" campaign sponsored by Northern Virginia Daily, fundraising for family shelters including Winchester Laurel Center and Woodstock Response, Inc., and supporting the Young Marines Red Ribbon Day. Each spring LFCC – IAAP sponsors Global Awareness Day, featuring over 30 countries with speakers and cultural tables.
