Welcome to Lord Fairfax Community College. We are delighted you have chosen our College as the next step in your journey, and are excited to partner with you as you discover all that we have to offer you as a new student. Lord Fairfax is not just a building you will visit a few hours a day to attend class and then return home. We are a community of leaders who believe that your education and development as an individual is extremely important.  We are proud to offer the resources to assist you in reaching your full potential. These services range from faculty members who inspire you to learn to clubs/organizations and athletics to financial aid to free tutoring. Your New Student Orientation is designed to do two things for you…provide information that will help you learn the array of opportunities and services available to you at LFCC, and, of course, to assist you in selecting and registering for your first round of classes. We are excited to have you join our community and I look forward to handing you your diploma or certificate in the not too distant future.
