TEAS® Test
The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) test is an online exam given to students entering the nursing program ATI at www.atitesting.com. The testing starts November 16, 2009 and goes through March 12, 2010.
The multiple choice text has four sections: math, reading, writing, and science.
Math covers whole numbers, metric conversion, fractions and decimals, algebraic equations, percentages, and ratio/proportion.
Reading covers paragraph comprehension, passage comprehension, and inferences/conclusions.
English covers measures knowledge of punctuation, grammar, sentence structure, contextual words, and spelling.
Science covers science reasoning, science knowledge, biology, chemistry, anatomy and physiology, basic physical principles, and general science.

Retake Policy
Students may retake the test after a 30-day waiting period after their initial attempt.
