The Health Occupations Basic Entrance Test (HOBET®)
test is an online exam given to students entering Dental Hygiene and Surgical Technology programs offered at the Middletown Campus. This four-option multiple-choice test includes 170 total questions on Reading, Mathematics, Science and English and Language Usage. Calculators may NOT be used for the test.
This test is available at both campuses and the Luray-Page County Center for LFCC Dental Hygiene and Surgical Technology applicants only. LFCC Dental Hygiene and Surgical Technology applicants will be notified when testing is available to them.
Test candidates requesting to take the HOBET® test for another college's program must work with their college's Health Professions representative and the testing center. An additional proctor fee of $15 per hour will apply to non-LFCC test candidates.
Study guides are available for check-out in the Paul Wolk Library, on the Middletown Campus. Online resources for the HOBET exam are located at www.atialliedhealth.com or http://www.testprepreview.com/hobet_practice.htm.
