Myriad TRIO Services

All of the TRIO services and activities are absolutely free to students who become active program participants. These services include, but are not limited to, peer tutoring and mentoring (all subjects); transfer campus tours and orientations; social activities and cultural trips; career guidance; support for students with disabilities; registration assistance; and financial/personal/crisis counseling and referral.

Counseling and Advising

TRIO counselors will help students register for classes or simply talk with them about any concerns the students may have. If TRIO counselors are unable to meet specific needs, they will offer referrals to other available resources and individuals.

Peer Tutoring

Tutoring for participants is available in group and individual sessions. All sessions are free.

Transfer Assistance

Students transferring to four-year colleges or universities are offered guidance in curriculum selection, admissions application and financial aid, as well as campus visits and orientations.

Cultural/Social Activities

In addition to academic support, TRIO plans and funds social events and cultural trips to historical and educational sites and landmarks.

Disability Services

TRIO provides timely, private and confidential support to students with physical, psychological and/or academic disabilities.
