To apply for financial aid, follow these steps:

Step 1: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). You must complete this form to apply for both federal and state grants. You may complete the form online at the above link. List the LFCC school code (008659) on the FAFSA to ensure LFCC receives your results. You (and your parent, if applicable) should also assign yourself a pin number from the Department of Education. The pin number serves as your electronic signature and may be requested at the Federal Student Aid PIN Website.

Step 2: Apply for admission to LFCC.

You must ensure that you are enrolled in an eligible curriculum to receive financial aid. Eligible academic curriculums are degree and certificate programs that have been approved by the Department of Education.

The Financial Aid Office will review your Student Aid Report (SAR) and let you know if you are eligible for financial aid. Your SAR may be selected for verification. If so, the LFCC Financial Aid Office will contact you and ask for additional documents.
