Curriculum Admissions (Admission to Specific Degree or Certificate Program)
A student must formally request admission to each program (curriculum) in which he or she plans to graduate. Advisors are available to help students select an appropriate curriculum for their academic or career interests. In addition to general admission requirements, specific requirements are prescribed for each curriculum of the College. These requirements are listed in the Instructional Programs Information section of the College Catalog.
Transcript Evaluation
If you have completed course work at a college or university you have already attended and want to receive transfer credit at LFCC, do the following:
- Submit a completed application for admission.
- Have official transcripts sent directly from the schools attended to the Admissions and Records Office.
- Provide course descriptions of previously taken classes to the Admissions and Records Office.
- Submit a Transcript Evaluation Request Form, which you can obtain from the Admissions and Records Office.
If you are ineligible to return to the last college you attended, you must petition in writing to the Registrar for Admission a minimum of 30 days before general registration. The College will decide on each case and may impose special conditions for admittance.
