Training Opportunities for Students
Announcing our New ROLL Course…
Ready for Online Learning?
Online learning provides our students with convenient and flexible opportunities to complete course requirements. The faculty, staff, and administrators at Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) want to provide our new online learners with every opportunity to succeed. With that goal in mind, the Instructional Technology Office has developed a self-paced course to provide our students with a hands-on introduction to a set of "student-readiness skills" we feel are important to their success. The course includes, but is not limited to, an introduction to the Blackboard course management system, the VCCS student e-mail system, and various resources that are available to you through our Learning Resource Centers (i.e. libraries) to enhance your online learning experience.
If you have registered for your first online or hybrid course at LFCC for the fall 2009 semester or if you plan to take your first online or hybrid course at LFCC in the near future, we encourage you to enroll in this free, self-paced course. If you simply want to learn more about Blackboard, VCCS student e-mail, and/or LFCC's library resources, we welcome you to enroll too.
