ITN 260 Network Security Basics

Provides instruction in the basics of network security in depth. Course content includes security objectives, security architecture, security models and security layers. Course content also includes risk management, network security policy and security training. Course content includes the give security keys, confidentiality integrity, availability, accountability and auditability. Prerequisites: Readiness to enroll in ENG 111 and ITN 109. Networking background highly recommended. Lecture 3 hours per week. Generally offered fall or spring; occasionally summer.
