Lord Fairfax Community College Surgical Technology Program prepares graduates to work in operating rooms, in hospitals and outpatient surgical centers. Admission to the program is limited and competitive and is based in part on standardized entrance test results. Priority enrollment is given to residents of the LFCC service region. Qualifying graduates of an accredited Surgical Technology Program will sit for the National Certifying Examination.
