Approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing, the nursing assistant curriculum prepares graduates to take the Virginia Board of Nursing certification exam to become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA). CNAs work in long-term care facilities (nursing homes), home health care, assisted-living facilities, hospitals and physicians' offices.
