Computer Lab Rules
- Be considerate of other people. Keeping noise to a minimum and placing debris in the proper containers will be helpful.
- Consumption of food or beverages into the computer classroom is prohibited. (See page 24 of College Catalog).
- The Internet is NOT to be used for the downloading and installation of applications unless authorized by faculty or Computer Services Personnel.
- When using the College's equipment to access the Internet, remember that you are acting as an ambassador for the college and you are not to use the VCCS network or e-mail in ways that reflect poorly on LFCC or violate college policies or state or federal laws.
- The accessing of pornographic material and playing of games is specifically forbidden by state policy.
- Students performing research on the Internet shall have priority over those who are "surfing the web" for recreation.
- You are requested to read and agree to the terms set out by the VCCS at these World Wide Web sites:

- Do not attempt repairs or adjustments on the equipment yourself.
- Do not change any of the software or hardware configurations under ANY circumstances. If you have a problem, contact the Lab Assistant or put a sign on the monitor indicating that it is malfunctioning.
- Copying software is prohibited. It is against the law. (The Virginia Crimes Act, Virginia - Title 8.01 Chapter 3, Federal - Computer Fraud & Abuse Act of 1986)
