A cardboard sign showing some benefits of recycling Tell us how we're doing

Recycling and Conservation Overview

At Lord Fairfax Community College we are continually researching ways that we can do our part to improve the environment. Through recycling and conservation, the College community can significantly reduce its environmental footprint.

Recycling Efforts...ways that you can reduce and recycle

  • Paper
  • Cardboard
  • Newspaper
  • Ink cartridges
  • Plastic
  • Aluminum
  • Stretch Film

Conservation Efforts...you can make a difference

  • Take note of the recycling availability at the College and Recycle, Recycle, Recycle!
  • Turn off lights in offices and classrooms when unoccupied.
  • Shut down computers when not in use or put into sleep mode.
  • Unplug equipment that is considered an "energy vampire" at the end of the day.
  • Carpool when possible to other Campuses and locations.
