Main Building (Middletown Campus)

  • April 23, 2009 – Work will begin to install a Public Address system at the Fauquier and Middletown Campuses. This upgrade will provide the College with an additional communication method to make emergency announcements. Work is scheduled to start at the Middletown Campus with completion to finish in June at the Fauquier Campus. The system will include:

    • Ceiling mounted hallway speakers in all of the buildings.
    • Speakers in the student commons areas including the libraries and bookstores.
    • Outside weather proof speakers.
Zoned capabilities so that emergency announcements can be directed to individual buildings or to all buildings on an "all call" basis
  • April 16, 2009 – Vacated science labs (110, 111, 114) will be undergoing a minor renovation. Demolition of the space is scheduled to start today and will continue through the end of the month, with the majority of the work to be scheduled in the evening after 10 p.m.  Following the demolition, the classrooms will be painted and carpeted with final completion tentatively scheduled for the middle of June 2009.
