2007-08 Successes
In 2003, the Virginia Community College System (VCCS) helped develop a strategic body of goals for the 23 community colleges throughout the commonwealth of Virginia. These seven objectives were designed as part of a plan to meet the current and future critical needs of the state's students and shape the VCCS into an outstanding system, providing access to high-quality, affordable educational opportunities to all of Virginia's citizens. This plan of action is known as Dateline 2009.
Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) is dedicated to achieving the goals set forth in Dateline 2009, and it has made tremendous progress in doing so. The links to the left explain the actions LFCC took during the 2007-08 academic year to address the goals of Dateline 2009.
