Affordable Tuition
Goal: Virginia Community College System (VCCS) tuition will not exceed half of the average cost to attend a public four-year institution in the commonwealth of Virginia.
The Virginia Community College System strives to make an education from Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) as affordable as it is exceptional. Currently, the cost of a semester for a full-time student at LFCC is one-third the cost of attending a public, four-year institution in Virginia. For the spring 2008 semester, the in-state tuition cost for a full-time student at LFCC was $1,061.60. By engaging in strategic leadership and planning, LFCC offers outstanding value to its students.
