- Ten high school students realized the power of their potential when they graduated from LFCC in May before graduating from high school. Of these students, three planned to attend Virginia Military Institute, while four others were set to attend Virginia Tech, The College of William and Mary, James Madison University and George Mason University. Two were still split between two choices as they approached graduation, and one decided to continue her education abroad in Barcelona, Spain.
- From fall 2004 to fall 2006, the headcount of dual-enrolled students grew by 27 percent, rising from 1,254 to 1,598.
- A dual enrollment coordinator, Lori Killough, was added to the staff in October 2006 to handle curriculum and quality-control activities within the program.
