Written or last revised on Sept. 2, 2009

Luke Lambdin, 18, began attending LFCC at age 16 through the Dual Enrollment Program. A Jeffersonton resident, he graduated with an associate degree in business administration. This fall, he will transfer to James Madison University, where he will pursue a bachelor's degree in justice studies.

In addition to attending LFCC, Lambdin works part time at four area businesses and volunteers in the community by coaching baseball in Rappahannock County. While coaching, he has had the opportunity to train both of his brothers' teams.

While at LFCC, Lambdin enjoyed getting involved on campus. In 2008-09, he served as president of the Student Government Association for the Fauquier Campus. He was also a member of the Chi Alpha Christian Fellowship and Ambassadors clubs and Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of two-year colleges. As he looks back, he is proud of "getting where I am today, almost two full years ahead of my peers."

LFCC provides a positive, caring and dynamic learning environment that
inspires student success, values diversity and promotes community vitality.
