MIDDLETOWN and WARRENTON, Va. - All new students at Lord Fairfax Community College (LFCC) are required to attend a new student orientation session. To accommodate new students registering in August for the fall 2008 semester, LFCC is offering, for the first time, a digital orientation session.

New students may attend the digital orientation session at their convenience at the Fauquier and Middletown Campuses. The orientation session is conducted using various media formats. In addition, LFCC employees are on hand to answer questions and assist students with the online registration process.

"LFCC strives to meet students' needs by offering programs and services that fit into their busy schedules. This new digital orientation session makes it easy for students to obtain important information about starting their educational career at the College and how to be successful while enrolled at LFCC. In addition, our friendly and helpful counselors are available to assist students in the final steps to register for classes," said Cynthia Bambara, vice president of student success at LFCC.

LFCC is currently holding in-person and Web registration for the fall 2008 semester, now through Aug. 22. Fall classes begin on Aug. 23, 2008.
