Learning Lab

The Learning Lab, located on the Middletown Campus in Room 318, contains 10 state-of-the-art, Internet-accessible laptop computers available for use by all LFCC students. These computers are equipped with much of the academic software used in the classroom, including the developmental math software and the computer applications and concepts software. In addition, five laptop computers are equipped with specialized ESL software and are used during ESL labs.

The Lab also provides space for studying, individual tutoring and group tutoring sessions. The space is also used for open learning lab sessions conducted by tutors and faculty in specific course areas. Labs are established based on need for supplemental instruction and are scheduled on a semester-by-semester basis. Advisors or students may call the SLC to inquire about specific lab offerings and times. In addition, the Lab provides space for a variety of specialized support group and training sessions. The room may be reserved for specialized group and training sessions by contacting a member of the SLC staff.
