LFCC's student organizations and activities provide a variety of opportunities for you to further develop your individual skills and talents. Extend your leadership abilities within the Student Government Association. Sing, dance, and act with the Performing Arts Club. Expand your horizons with the Scientific Society. Strive to be part of the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society or the Ambassadors, a group of students nominated by the faculty to serve as representatives for the College.
You may also want to consider joining various career-related organizations such as Phi Beta Lambda Business Organization or the International Association for Administrative Professionals (IAAP). Whatever you choose, your involvement is certain to lead to new friends, ideas, and experiences.
Each fall, new and returning students are welcomed with entertainment and food at the Fall Picnic; the Spring Fling celebrates the conclusion of the year. In between are many activities including coffee house performances, special lectures, out-of-town excursions, and community service projects. Of course, you can always choose to just spend time with friends in the student center.
