The Middletown Campus is situated on 101 acres and is easily accessable via Interstate Highways 66 and 81 and U.S. Route 11. Within the campus buildings you'll find modern classrooms and laboratories which reflect the most up to date technology. The Warren B. French, Jr. Telecommunications Center allows you to participate in Distance Learning and in the Paul Wolk Library you can access all the major data bases in the world, including major library catalogs. The Learning Assistance Center offers many individualized programs that will help you excel as a student. The Special Events Center is the site of an exciting variety of performances and events. Outside facilities on campus include a regulation 400 meter track and a mile fitness trail.

In December 1988, Fauquier County businessman, Bob G. Sowder, donated 2.5 acres of property to be used for establishing a community college campus in Fauquier County. The renovated barn on this property became the Fauquier Campus of Lord Fairfax Community College, which was expanded when the General Assembly appropriated $7.2 million in 1996 to construct the current 60,000 square foot classroom and administrative building.

On October 22, 1999, the College community celebrated the dedication of the new campus building, located on U. S. Route 29, just south of Warrenton. The attractive classroom and administrative building, Wolk Hall, is dedicated to Paul and Sheila Wolk, whose generosity to Lord Fairfax Community College has made quality educational opportunities available to many additional students on both campuses. The Bob G. Sowder Library contains books, computers, and a wide range of media to support College programs and personal interests. The Rose Loeb Student Center is a dramatic space where students may share activities, meals, or study time. Students may also receive special assistance with study skills and assistive technologies in the new Learning Assistance Center.

LFCC strives to continually expand and improve all academic facilities on both campuses, matching its rapid development with the current needs of students. Changes in technology have brought exciting changes in teaching, learning, and quality of student services at LFCC.
