This is a list of all available databases that contain specialized reference information. You can also see a list of these databases by subject.

Contains all the articles, fully illustrated, from the latest edition of the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, Research Updates from the McGraw-Hill Yearbooks, thousands of illustrations, and the latest Science News® headlines, biographies, and more.

African-American poetry, 1760-1900
Full-text of over 2,500 poems, based on William French's bibliography, Afro-American Poetry and Drama 1760-1975.
American poetry database
Includes 40,356 full-text poems from 1,288 works by 209 poets, along with six landmark anthologies of American poetry. The database gathers the works of the most influential American poets, from the Colonial period to the early twentieth century.

ARTstor
Database of very high quality art images covering the history of art.
Associations Unlimited (InfoTrac)
Contains more than 152,000 detailed listings for organizations all over the world, with a scope that covers everything from a local Chamber of Commerce to the American Medical Association.
Biography and Genealogy Master Index
It indexes current, readily available reference sources, as well as the most important retrospective works that cover individuals, both living and deceased, from every field of activity and from all areas of the world.
Birds of America
Detailed information about 716 species of birds in North America, including audio and video clips.

Large database of information about books currently available in print.
CIAO Columbia International Affairs Online
International affairs collection that includes working papers from university research institutes, occasional papers series from NGO's, foundation-funded research projects, proceedings from conferences, books, journals and policy briefs.
Congressional Universe (Lexis Nexis)
Includes abstracts and indexing for congressional publications, legislative histories, member biographies, committee assignments, voting records, and financial data; and the full text of key regulatory and statutory resources.
Consumer Health Complete
Covers consumer health information from encyclopedias, reference books, and multimedia sources..
CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics
Full-text of the CRC Handbook of Chemistry and Physics, filled with tables and data.

Dissertation Abstracts  (FirstSearch)
Index to dissertations and theses in all subject areas.

Encyclopædia Britannica
Online access to the full-text of The Encyclopaedia Britannica.
ENGnetBASE (Engineering Electronic Library)
Full-text of over 400 engineering books.
English Poetry
English Poetry contains poems in English from Anglo-Saxon times to the end of the nineteenth century by writers from the British Isles. Overall the database contains over 165,000 poems which have been drawn from about 4,500 separate printed sources.
English Verse Drama
Contains more than 2,200 works by around 500 named and over 300 anonymous works, from the Shrewsbury Fragments of the late thirteenth century through the unparalleled output of the Elizabethan and Jacobean period to the end of the nineteenth century.
ERIC (EbscoHost)
Provides full text of more than 2,200 ERIC documents along with references for additional information, including journal articles.
Facts-On-File
Database of world news coverage dating from 1940. Also includes World Almanac, a science database, and a database that focuses on current issuses and controversies.
FirstSearch
Collection of databases in various subjects, including humanities, sciences, and social sciences.
