Our instructor facilitated online courses can help you acquire new skills
at your own pace at times which are convenient for you. Each course runs
for 6 weeks and consists of 12 lessons. Courses are supplemented with
interactive quizzes, assignments, discussion area, and the final exam.
Course requirements and descriptions are available on the Online Instruction
Center Web page: www.ed2go.com/lfcc.
After registering for a course, students must complete the ONLINE ORIENTATION
in order to be admitted to the Online Classroom. This process must be
completed for each course that you register for. Please indicate on your
registration from which starting date you want.
Successful completion of an online course requires a score of 70 or better.
Students will be awarded a letter of completion from Ed2go and also a
certificate of completion that shows the 2.4 CEU’s, for each course
successfully completed. This will come from Lord Fairfax Community College.

Approximately 300 courses are available across 12 departments,
including:
• Internet: about 30 courses, from introductory
courses to programming and design courses.
• Computer: about 30 courses, including operating
systems, applications, hardware management and troubleshooting courses.
• Certification Prep: about 15 courses, including
A+ and Network+, Cisco and Microsoft MCSE courses.
• Design and New Media: about 11 unique graphic
design certifications ranging from 9-14 courses in each certification.
• Writing: about 14 courses, including for travel,
screenwriting, publishing, creativity, magazine, short fiction and technical
writing courses.
• Personal Enrichment: about 50 courses ranging
from finances and marriage, to communications and career development.
• Test Prep: about 8 courses, including GMAT,
SAT/ACT, LSAT and GRE courses.
• Legal: about 8 courses, including Paralegal,
and criminal and evidence law.
• Small Business: about 22 courses, ranging from
management and marketing, to accounting and sales.
• Large Business: approximately 50 courses, including
supply chain management, logistics and purchasing courses. Many are
certification prep.
• Healthcare: approximately 29 courses dedicated
to the continuing education needs of healthcare workers.
• Courses in Spanish: about 10 courses covering
computer application and business.
